Pearl St. Train Ride

During the Summer months, the Pearl St. mall in Boulder offers free train rides to the little ones in the morning. William got to ride on it this summer before we left.

September 19, 2009

Here are some photos of our wedding from September 19, 2009. We did not have a blog for William back then so I wanted to share some photos today,on our two year anniversary! There are quite a lot of them so I just picked a couple of good ones.

Pamma and William spent a lot of time together during the wedding weekend and our honeymoon.

Possibly my favorite shot of the whole weekend! Love my little handsome Man!

Our Sea Turtle

We recently went back to Chicago to attend a wedding, visit friends and family, and get a few things lined up for our move there this fall. While we were there, we had a chance to attend the orientation of William's new preschool! He is in the "Sea Turtles" class, which is perfect for him considering how much we all love the ocean. William's Pamma used to be the director for this preschool and we are very proud and excited to see it all come full circle! William had a blast exploring the new school and meeting his teachers and classmates. We are so proud of our little guy - he is really growing up!

Daddy's Birthday!

Daddy turned 33 in Aspen! We had a great weekend celebrating and enjoying the beauty of central Colorado.

A Boy & His Dad, a proud moment for both.

Happy Birthday Daddy! The Birthday Boy at Maroon Bells, just outside of Aspen. One of the most beautiful places on the planet.

It's not a birthday vacation without a little pool time.

Maroon Bells, Colorado

On Daddy's birthday, we spent a few hours hiking around the Maroon Bells, a series of gorgeous 14,000 foot peaks just outside of Aspen. We were all blown away by the breathtaking beauty of this area. It was the first time we had ever seen it.

TA-DA! "Check out this beauty" -William

On our way back to Boulder after the Maroon Bells hike, we drove over the Continental Divide via Independence Pass. It was a magnificent drive home! Colorado never ceases to amaze with its astounding beauty.

Mountain Waterfall, amazing!

Aspen-Snowmass, CO

At the end of August, we took a family trip up to Aspen, CO to check out a mountain town we've never been to before and celebrate Daddy's birthday.

Gondolas

William LOVES gondolas. In fact, each night before dinner, we say a prayer, and ask William what he is thankful for, and he often says he is thankful for gondolas! He prays for the cutest things, like his grandparents, their homes, pets, places, and toys. I will have to blog his prayers more often. This year, he had the chance to ride on gondolas in a few different places in Colorado, lucky boy! He also suggested he should be a gondola for Halloween this year...we'll see about that?!

Telluride...

Nora even got to ride all the gondolas in Telluride!
