More Easter Sunday Pics

The Red Lion in Boulder had a very nice brunch that featured a free Easter egg hunt for kids, and a three course brunch for all three of us, which was also free for William. We got a nice table near the windows by the creek, and it was lovely. All the children were allowed to pick 12 eggs, and inside each egg was number indicating different prizes the little ones could choose inside once they were finished hunting for their eggs.

...and he's off...

William could not wait for his turn, which is very common at this age, and had to sneak in some chocolate while waiting for his prizes.

William looks very proper eating his Sunday Easter brunch. He got to have French toast with mint jelly. He loved it, especially the jelly!

William was so excited to go down to the creek after brunch. On our way down to the creek, William found some rocks and stones that he brought home.

Here he is showing us the creek!

Loving on his dirty rocks. Love BOYS! He somehow did stay pretty clean the whole day.

Afterwards, we went to the Lussiers for some more food and fun. We only got to take this one adorable photo of Genevieve showing William a hidden egg. They seriously did Easter egg hunts all day. They took turns hiding them and then looking for them. Too cute. The kids, dogs, and adults all had a blast spending time together on Easter!

Happy Easter!

We had Easter brunch at the Red Lion today. William did a small and fun egg hunt before brunch. He was more interested in dirt and rocks than pastel Easter eggs or prizes though. Definitely a little Boulder Mountain boy. After brunch we went to the Lussiers for some more Easter fun. More pictures to come!! We hope everyone had a joyful and beautiful Easter!

Aloha!

Aloha family and friends! We wanted to share just a few photographs from our recent family tropical vacation to Kauai, Hawai'i (we literally took over 4,000 photographs so there will be more coming!). William was amazing on the plane ride there and back. He did not get sick at all, and was very well behaved the entire trip. He probably had three cranky moments the whole time, and given all the activities and exploring we did on the island, he was AMAZING. We are so proud of him and think he will be a world traveler no doubt!

Beach for days! I could really do this forever!

What a handsome Newton Island Boy!

This is our backyard! William had lots of fun in our backyard that featured a pool, ocean, and endless amounts of animals and insects! Too much fun, we will be sure to share as many photos as possible.

His smile is Priceless in this photograph. Our family loves Aloha Fridays in Waimea, Kauai!

William's 3rd Birthday!

On Sunday, April 10, we had friends and family over for William's birthday party! It was a nice day but pretty windy so we spent a little time at the park but mostly stayed inside. William's auntie Lyssie and Gramby made him an incredible Hawaii themed cake for our luau party. William's Gramps and uncles Cooper and Cayle also came, as did a number of his lil friends and their parents. We had a great time playing, eating pizza and cake, and enjoying everyone's company.

The cake also said, "Happy Birthday William!" in Hawaiian

Chip Monster...William was entertaining us with his best Cookie Monster impression.

Toy Story 3! (Thanks Quinn!)

Awesome new car track from Gramps and Gramby! William has already logged several hours on the track.

Jameson, Isabel, and their mom stayed over for a birthday taco dinner and got to hang outside with the birthday boy

Bubbles are fun!

Rice crispie lamb from GG! Chris's grandma made one every year for Chris and his brothers for Easter. We were so happy to get one in the mail from her for William to continue the tradition! We opened it on his birthday and he named the lamb "Lambie Pie," which was one of the options given to him by GG. It is such a special treat!

William got a new pet fish from Jameson and Isabel. He named it "Kanik," after one of the three whale characters in a library book he currently has checked out.

"Happy Birthday Dear William...Happy Birthday To You!!!"

Lollilocks

William got his hair cut at Lollilocks here in Boulder, a salon for kids. He wanted to sit in the car chair, big surprise!

I miss his long hair, but now he can see!
