Celebrating Grandparents Day with Pamma!!!

 This past November we were spoiled with special visitors!!! It was really special to celebrate grandparents day here in Maui with Pamma! We all went to William's school in the morning and the school hosted all the grandparents with different shows from each grade and some tasty food. 

Pamma got to spend some time in William's class room! William was proud!

November was so fun thanks to all of our special visitors! We miss hanging out with our best friends from Colorado on the weekly! We got to hang out a few times on the island and had a blast as usual. The first night we went out to dinner at the Kula Bistro, one of our dinner spots.

They also got to come over to our house for a playdate just like the good old days. 

They had fun running free in the fairy forest! 

They are good little buddies! Love these kids. 

William The Artist!

William is our little artist and was inspired by today's whale watching trip in the Pacific! 

The drawing is of the sea, featuring a mama whale, a baby whale, flying fish, two giant squid and a big jelly!!!  

Fun at The Wailea Marriott

We had some fun in the sun at the Wailea Marriott this past week. We stayed for two nights and I hung out with the kids while Chris was at work. We love the kids pool area and had a lot of fun splish splashing!

I have to fold her hat up so she can see, it's cute and a little funny!

Arrabella decided she wanted to lounge on the steps in the shade.

William got to go down the Big Boy slide and loved it. He did not want to stop! 

We got to watch another beautiful sunset. The surfs were unusually high in the south side of Maui! It was amazing watching the huge waves splash up against the lava rocks.

Whale watching!

After an amazing trip back to the mainland for the holidays, we decided we did not want vacation to end! So we went on a whale watching cruise. We finally got to see our first whales of the season!!! It was exciting!

At one point we had to decide what to watch, the beautiful sunset or the whales?!? 

The whales are amazing! We love when they come out to say "HI"! 🐋

Beach camping

We finally got to go camping as a family of four at the beach this past Sunday. Camping is a lot of work but we enjoyed being outdoors. It was a black sand beach. We got to see lots of whales breaching and splashing around. We look forward to finding new campsites to explore in the future! 

Williams favorite part of camping was sleeping in the tent.

Arrabella Bee loves the water and is not afraid whatsoever. We need to keep a very close eye on her because she will dive right in. 

William and Nora had so much fun together playing at the beach and in the water. The water was very shallow which was great for the kids. 

The sunset was beautiful! 

Beach campfires are fun! We had dog's on a stick for dinner and s'mores of course!
