Blossoms of Light @ the Denver Botanic Gardens

One December evening we met up with Gramps, Granby, Lyssie, Cooper, and Cayle to check out the holiday lights at the Denver Botanic Garden! It was so beautiful and we really enjoyed this festive outing with the family.

Group shot!

Cooper, Cayle, Lyssie, and William enjoying some hot apple cider! Yumm!

Holidays with Friends!

It has been nice being around our friends and we have enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays together. We were blessed to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Anton's and the Bookal's in 2015.

Pamma took this picture of the Newton's and Anton's on Pearl Street while she was here last month. Maybe the kids can start a band!?

Arrabella likes to hang out with Jameson and Isabel.

Boys playing pool.

During the holidays the kids had a white elephant gift exchange. They were really sweet to each other and everyone got exactly what they wanted!

Arrabella got a toaster, perfect for a little cook!

Christmas Tree

Getting the Christmas tree is always such a fun family activity, we look forward to this every year!

The kids love the Polar Express around the tree!

Bella getting into the Christmas spirit!

Making crafts or making a mess? Either way fun was had!

The guys put up the outdoor Christmas lights together! William also helped Chris shovel the sidewalk!

Little helper!

Colder Boulder

In early December Chris and I ran the Colder Boulder, in Boulder. This is the winter version of the Bolder Boulder. It is a quick 5k around the CU campus. We took turns running and watching the kids. We all had a lot of fun and can see this being a yearly tradition for us!

The kids were great and got to enjoy free goodies, like doughnuts, milk, bananas, stickers, we'll you get the point.

William gets a Haircut

After many months without a haircut our long hair island boy got a one!

Before.

And after, looking handsome!

Fall Harvest Recital

William looking handsome at his second grade Fall Harvest recital.

William had his grandparents and aunt Lyssie to cheer him on, lucky boy!

A group of second grade girls did a beautiful scarf dance and Arrabella was inspired!

Standing by the Hawaiian islands on the map at William's school playground.

Doing the Turkey Tango! The kids did a great job!

Arabella's Hair!

Arabella's hair is finally coming in! Woohoo! She likes to wear ponytails and will ask me to brush her hair. I love her cute little sprout.

Taking the cats and dogs for a walk at the library.
