We got our tree on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving! We were all so excited. William had a blast and was a huge help. First, he watered the tree...
Then he helped decorate!
This 1-2 combo was courtesy of William. I like his tree decorating style...new trend for 2010...
William also got his own little tree to decorate for his room. He promptly snagged some of our favorite ornaments for the tree...Cartman, Boulder skis, a jingle bell, his "baby's first Christmas" ornament from Pamma, and more...
Then, he got to open the first present of the season...
Curious George sheets!

Ready for bed with the new sheets!

Michael Franti & Spearhead Kids Concert at The Harvest Ball
This weekend, William went to see his first concert with some friends. We had lots of room to run around, and enjoyed some snacks and dance moves along the way.
Running for the hills...uh oh...boys will be boys.
Everyone really liked the popcorn!
William and Jameson are good boys and are great at sharing...98% of the time ;)

Thanksgiving Day
This year, we have a lot to be thankful for: our amazing little boy, wonderful family and friends, and our health! This past Thanksgiving, we continued our annual tradition and went to the Lussier's home for dinner. We had a great time meeting their newest daughter, Cecilia Dolores, and William had so much fun playing with Soleil, Phoebe, Matthew, and Genevieve. We also went over to Jess, Rich, Jameson, and Isabel's home after the Lussier's for dessert. We were so tired and full but it was fun to eat so much tasty food and see so many great friends!
Yes, I know...Mommy and Daddy need to get on this Big Boy a hair cut ASAP ;) But he is still so handsome and he wore his tie the entire night!

Wow Children's Museum
The Wow Children's Museum is a cool place in Lafayette, CO, where kids get to explore a variety of hands-on exhibits. They have a bank, train station, a mini Whole Foods grocery, and a ton of other fun areas. Here are some pics from a recent visit in November 2010...

Story Time
Every Tuesday morning, William and I go with Jess and the kiddos to story time at the Longmont library. They sing songs, play instruments, read books, and listen to stories. William likes listening to the stories and books. This past Tuesday, Electra (the story teller) told the children a lovely story about Thanksgiving and read one of our new favorite books, "How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You," written by Jane Yolen. All of her books are so well written!
Putting his instrument away...he has gotten so BIG!
At the end of each story time session, all the children and parents grab onto the side of a parachute and shake it up and down, and on the last time, everyone gets to go inside the parachute and sing a quick song. The kids love this!!
William under the parachute...I think someone is due for a hair cut!
He loves trains!

ABCs
Yesterday in the car, William sang the ABCs straight through a few times. We caught the last one on video. Here it is! We are so proud of him! The night before, on Saturday, he had his first sleep over. His buddy Jameson came over to hang out, watch a movie and spend the night. They had a blast!
