Maui Lani Dunes Driving Range

On Wednesdays we like to take William to a golf range to hit balls. He loves it and looks forward to it all week. This past Wednesday we tried a new place, the Maui Lani Dunes. It was another fun Wednesday night at the golf course, and the pretty sunset was nice two.

Look who decided to try out brother's golf club, little miss Bella the golfer.  She is walking all over the place and getting faster by the second.

He had a few nice long and straight shots with the driver. He also thought it was cool to golf at night.

Bellas Birthday pictures

I finally had a chance to look over Baby Arrabella's 1 year birthday pictures. We had just moved into our new house and misplaced the battery charger to our camera. Thankfully I was able to get a few pics before the camera ran out of battery. I really wanted to do a home photo shoot of the birthday girl in her crib. Here are a few cute photos I was able to get. She had just woken up from a nap and was hungry so she had a little pretzel snack during the photo shoot.

Bella baby!

Party in my crib!

                                                             LOVE those cheeks!!!

Queen Bee

Oh to be a Queen Bee! Bella Bee was just the sweetest thing this Halloween!

Arrabella bee is the bees knees!

Our Golfer and Queen Bee!

         One happy little bee! Bzzzz!

Night of Delight

This year we got to experience our first Night of Delight at the Haleakala Waldorf school. It was whimsical and fun for all. I volunteered to be an Angel guide this year. There were 5 stations and 5 groups of people. My job was to make sure everyone in my group stayed together, which sounds easy enough but you do get some wanderers. In the past they have opened this to the public but it was getting too big and now it's invite only.

William and Arrabella both got to wear their Halloween costumes from last year. I think the pirate is William's favorite costume ever. Baby Bella fit much better into her owl costume this year!

William with his friends Jake and Cam. Jake was an eagle and Cam was a ninja.

Cuties!

Each station had a different theme. Some of the themes were "Hawaiian," "Hey, Diddle, Diddle," and "Rumpelstiltskin."

Here is a photo of the "Rumpelstiltskin" station. Mr. Weis was the Rumpelstiltskin of this show, all the first graders thought it was so fun to see their teacher! This was actually really funny and our favorite station next to "Hey Diddle, Diddle."

Halloween 2014

This Halloween, William had lots of fun trick-or-treating options. At the end he decided to start the night off with school buddies in Spreckelsville, a neighborhood at the Maui Country Club.  This was a very nice and festive neighborhood, one house even had a band set up with speakers, but we did not stick around for that. All the parents made a deal that we would leave as soon as things got "scary" and the big kids came out. After Spreckelsville, we headed to Pukalani to trick-or-treat with the Wunders, Kenji's family.

William wanted to be a golfer (big surprise)! The "Golfer" look was a little too realistic, so we made it "scary" and he went as a "Bloody Golfer" that got hit in the head with a golf ball. Even with a bloody head he is still looking handsome.

Palm trees and Trick-or-treats!

William hanging with Jake of course!

Trick-or-Treat time with Kenji and Emmy!

William ended with many tricks and treats. The switch witch came this year and recycled the candy for some money for the piggie bank. William got to pick out a few of his favorite pieces first -- fruit gummies, M&Ms, Nerds, and licorice. He also saved some Reese's peanut butter cups for Dad.

The Maui News

Our wise little owl made the front page of the Maui News on Halloween day!!! Bella and I go to the Makawao library most Thursday mornings for story time. This specific Thursday the kids were asked to dress up for a special Halloween performance. She was popular that day, I had a few moms ask me if they could take a picture of her! She got lots of ooohs and ahhhs this Halloween!

We did not even know she made the news until night time when we were trick or treating. Kenji's mom told us Bella was in the paper. Afterwards Chris went to the store and got the last two copies!

I also love how she has a pile of books at her feet as usual!

Here is a picture of the Maui News website home page that day.  Chris took a screen shot of it with his phone. You can read the caption. So cute!

Pumpkin Patch School Field Trip

Here are a couple of pics of William on his recent school field trip to the Kula Farms pumpkin patch!

William loves his teacher Mr. Weis! I know this because he tells me how he always wants to be close to him during snack or team activities. Such a sweet and loving age!

Mr. Weis is the male at the front of this picture.

William lost his 3rd tooth

William lost his third tooth at school. He was waiting with the other children at pick up and his tooth fell off when he bit into his after school snack. He was so proud and adorable. This tooth is special because he already had the adult teeth coming in on the bottom two teeth so we did not get "the look"! We think the 4th will be out sooner than later!
