Leis

William's Hawaiian themed birthday decorations arrived today! We got lots of fun hibiscus motif decorations and lots of beach fun goodies for the kids! William could not help himself and got into a packet of leis! He wore them all day and even wanted to wear them to bed. Of course we did not let him sleep with them on, but we let him wear them for story time!

I think someone is getting excited about his 3rd birthday party and first visit to the Hawaiian islands!

Nora even got in on the lei fun, thanks to William's Aloha spirit.

Just wanted to share this pretty photo of the sunset sky over the front range and Boulder flatirons this evening.

Tools

William really got into his tool box today. He was hard at work all day hammering, sawing, and tightening bolts.

William loves his Nora dog. They were so sweet this morning and spent some time cuddling on a small ray of sunshine that was coming in through the window.

Pamma Visit!

It was so special to have Grandma Pamma come visit us this past week. We had so much fun exploring Estes Park and enjoyed multiple delicious meals and lots of play time! Thanks Pamma!

William loved having Pam over. Every night he got to share story time and night time lullabies with Pamma. What a lucky little guy!

William can't ever get enough play time with cars and Pamma got to get in on the playing fun.

The last day we had a delicious brunch at Centro here in Boulder and went for a short hike up Canyon road afterwards.

William could not stop screaming "Pamma" the whole time she was here. He just really loves his Grandma!!!

Estes Park with Pamma.

Grandma Pam came to visit us in Boulder and we took a day trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, CO. We took so many pictures and a lot of them turned out so well that I had to share them. I tried to keep it short but there are just too many good ones.

William's cute profile.

Had to share this beautiful photograph of Pam.

William wasted no time getting to work on a project! It consisted of throwing as many sticks, pine cones, and bark on the snow as possible.

He did pretty good;)

William and Pamma had fun exploring the park together!

A couple of candid family photos.

William and I enjoyed exploring together. We found some holes on the ground and guessed they were probably some little critter's home.

A father and his son!

William found a stick while exploring and couldn't wait to show Pamma!

"Look at this Pamma!"

Why did the Elk cross the road...?

Playtime

We have gotten some very nice spring days this month and took the opportunity to go out and enjoy it with the kiddos. We had a fun lunch picnic and William got to play with his friends Jameson and Isabel.

Pretty little Isabel.

Nora got to play too; the kids loved playing fetch with her.

St. Patrick's Day

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day at the St. Julien this year. Chris and I had the classic corn beef and cabbage dinner and William had a cheese pizza. They had a band playing Irish music and Irish dancers. It was a fun family night.

William wanted me to take a photo of him and his pizza.

Pizza face!

After dinner it was time to dace an Irish jig.

He made friends with some children that were sitting next to us. They were being silly and trying to dance like the Irish dancers.

Who, me?

After all that dancing we needed to take a break and get some fresh air outside. The St. Julien has a beautiful courtyard with a fountain and fireplace. Here William is looking like he's is ready to take a dive in the fountain.

Checking out the fireplace from the outside.
