Golf Lesson

William had his first golf lesson with his teacher, Travis. He will be taking lessons and playing some golf at the Pukalani country club. William is a trend setter and has many of the kids at school wanting to go golfing. We have some golf play dates in the works with some of his school friends.

Working on his swing.

Birthday party fun

This weekend William attended his friend Jake's 7th birthday party. William had a blast with all his Waldorf friends. It is such a great group of kids. William and jake are good friends. William had a play date there recently. Jake has a horse, chickens, and other pets that William loves. He got to groom the horse. Bella loves the animals too. William also recently attended his friend Duke's birthday party! We are happy for William, he is making so many good new friends!

It rained a lot this past weekend as tropical storm/hurricane Ana approached HI. That's why the kids look like wet little chickadees.

Mummy race!

Bella the beach bunny!

Precious smiles at the beach.

Sweetest beach baby!

The kids love the sand, it's messy but they dig it!

Kula Country Farm

We love this beautiful island pumpkin patch. We have actually been there three times already and can't wait to go back!

The farm is down the road from the soccer field so we headed over there for some fun after the game.

The kids garden is really cute, William loves running around in there.

William appreciates a good rock concert.

Our sweet pumpkins!

William playing golf in his soccer jersey, he is our sporty boy!

William got to hang out with Tiara Rose.

Bella was not into riding on Tiara Rose.

Corn maze!

Here are some pics of our other visits to the pumpkin patch. Both times we got rained out and had to cut our visit short. We still had fun!

William is a dedicated golfer and will golf rain or shine.

The great pumpkin is coming!

Strikers Game

We had another fun Saturday morning game here on Maui. The Strikers did not win this game, it was actually the first game William has lost including last year. Despite the loss, William had one of his best quarters and really has been more aggressive at getting and running with the ball.

This weekend's action shot. Nice kick William!

William and Kenji! They are not on the same team, there are two orange teams. William's jersey is a little bit darker.

Bella beauty cheering brother on and having a little snack. She does not have much hair yet. It is coming in ever so slowly. I am ready to braid some hair. I have only been waiting all my life to braid my daughter's hair! Grow hair grow!

Team cheer! Go Strikers!

William pics

Here are a couple of pictures of William with some school crafts and star report!

William got a star report from Mr. Weis for being well behaved as well as listening.

For Michaelmas the kids made some paper dragon pupets.

It was very detailed in the back.

During rest time on Thursdays the kids work with wax and make different animals and objects. William has made a bull and a green turtle.

Every Friday morning we have parent coffee hour at the school. We make things for the kids like this finger puppet dragon.

Soccer Game #3

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekends soccer game. Didn't get any action shots this weekend but here he is loving the tunnel!

So HAPPY!

All about Bella!

Baby Bella is quickly becoming a little toddler! She is a sweet baby and enjoys cuddling up with a book on Mama or Dada's lap.  She is our little mermaid and has always liked splashing in the water during bath time or at the pool. She really likes going under at the pool, which is amazing because William was terrified until he was 4 and now he can't get enough. She is a water beach baby after all.

Here are some fun facts about our little girl.

Favorite book(s) - her favorite book is The Three Bears. Other favorites include The Little Mermaid, and Good Night Moon.

Words - Bella is an early talker and has many words, including Mama, Dada, Mermaid, more, brother, Curious George, dog, bottle, that (everything is "that"), and Bella. We ask her "what is your Name?" And she answers "BeBa" lol. She is a cutie and we love hearing her voice come out.

Songs - we have so many favorite songs but some of her favorites are "Old McDonald," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Hey Dilly, Dilly." She seems to have some natural rhythm and can humm "Old McDonald" really well, as well as other melodies.

Physical Development - She is into everything, and I mean everything. We have to watch her like a hawk. She is also climbing on everything. She has been able to stand on her two feet for a few months and can stand up by herself. She is cruising on furniture and walls. She can stand up on her own and has taken 5 to 6 steps at a time. So I guess technically she has started walking.

Favorite Toys - she likes taking things in and out of bags and containers. One of her favorite things to do is take all the books off of bookshelves, which gets interesting at the library. She also loves anything Big Bro is playing with. She will destroy any toy set up William has going on. William is good with her and thinks its funny but has started to close the door in his room so he can build whatever he wants without disturbance. Kind of funny.

Animal noises - Bella now knows a few animal sounds including cow, horse, bird, monkey, and cat. We ask her "what does the cow say?" and she says "moo." I need to get a video of this.

Foods - she loves to eat just like her brother. Her favorites I would say are bananas and strawberries but she also likes blueberries, watermelon, and of course, pineapple. Favorite veggies include avocado, sweet potatoes, and peas. She is definitely not a vegetarian, she likes meat, steak and chicken. She also likes yogurt and fruit smoothies I make at home. For now she eats great but you never know when that could change.

She loves to blow kisses, give high fives, dance, clap, color, make big messes, and hug her stuffed animals. She is a dream and we can't get enough of our little girly love baby!
