Pantai Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach

One day in Maui, we took the long drive to Hana. It is a gorgeous drive past dozens of waterfalls and other scenery. As you get into Hana, you can pull off and hike around this beautiful black sand beach.

Kaanapali Beach - Black Rock

During our time on the island of Maui we spent two fun days at Kaanapali beach. We got to swim with sea turtles, snorkel, build sand castles, and enjoy two beautiful Kaanapali sunset dinners.

After a day at the beach, we did a little shopping in Whalers Village in Kaanapali. William and some other children had fun playing in the fountain. This photo was taken right before William lost one of his sandals and jumped in to "save it" and got completely soaked. ooops...







Can you tell we have been at the beach all day? We are looking a little beached out. The sunset sure is gorgeous though.

Hawaiian Superman!

Aloha!

Aloha family and friends! We finally sorted through our photos (somewhat) and wanted to share some of our recent Hawaiian memories. We ended with about 5,000 photos by the end of the trip. We had an amazing time and fell even more in love with Hawaii's majestic beauty and culture!

We took a limo to the airport at about 4am on the 18th of April. This was William's first limo ride.

We took 3 planes: one to LA, one to Honolulu, and one to Maui. The last plane to Maui was a very small plane that we boarded outdoors.

William loves his window seat, just like his mama.

After a very long day of travel we arrived at our condo, had a quick dinner, and made it down to the beach just in time for our first Hawaiian sunset of the trip.
