Aloha Pony

Earlier this year while in Oahu, William got to meet this cute little horse that we called the Aloha pony.

Red, White, Blue, and Handsome!

Today William wore red, white, and blue to school in honor of this day in America. They read two stories, “Meet Our Flag” and “Old Glory’. He looked handsome on his second day of pre-K! This year he is in the butterflies’ class and goes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!

They also asked us to bring in a photo of William when he was a baby and I wanted to share it on the blog as well!

Back To School

William started another year of pre-k today! He was very excited to go back to school! He had a great day getting to know his classmates! His angry birds shirt was a big hit too!

Yay, off to school!

We are excited for another year of learning and growing for our Big Boy!

Lincoln Park Zoo

This past Monday we visited the Lincoln Park Zoo! The zoo was very crowded and it was a hot day so we did not stay for too long and didn’t see many animals. William had so much fun riding the train and playing in the children’s area!

William is so silly and told us he was taking the train to work just like his daddy!

Transformers

William’s latest obsession is Transformers! Chris and I recently went to California wine country and William stayed with Pamma. Pamma brought William to work for “take your grandchild to work day,” and let’s just say that he ended up with lots of toys by the end, thanks to Pamma’s cool co-workers. All of his grandparents, as well as Chris and I, have also contributed to his growing Transformers collection.

Red Ear Turtles

On our morning walk today William and I ran into some red ear turtles, a mom and a baby! It's hard to see them in this photo due to the reflection in the water.
