Waimea Canyon, Kauai

One of the days we  headed up to the Waimea Canyon. This canyon is so beautiful! First we headed all the way to the top in hopes of seeing the beautiful Na Pali lookout, thankfully we did get to see it and it was just as surreal as I remember. There was some fog which added to the magic.

Here is a picture of the Waimea Canyon with a waterfall all the way in the back (it just looks like a line) and a daring rooster.

After our fun adventure up the canyon we headed to another one of our favorite spots, the Waimea Plantation Cottages. This is our original Aloha Friday spot. There is a black sand beach and a beautiful banyan tree.

Spouting Horn, Kauai

Before we  headed up the Canyon we stopped to check out the Spouting Horn, blowhole! It was much bigger in person and it made a particular sound, that was kind of neat. 

Pamma got Bella some cute Plumeria flower clips! She is slowly but surely getting some hair. 

The kids were troopers, it was a long day of adventuring, which can get interesting with children. But we had lots of fun and made lots of amazing memories.

William and Jake in Kauai

To add to the Kauai excitement, William's good friend, Jake also came out to Kauai! Julie (Jake's mom) and Jake stayed at the timeshare building down the road!  Jake also knew about the big surprise and did not tell William.



At the timeshare building they had activities set up for the kids everyday. We made it out one time for some ice cream treats. William also had a sleepover with Jake one night. It was a fun and exciting time!

Resort Girl!

Arrabella is our little resort girl! Here she is enjoying our big king size bed.

Here she is moments after we got to our suite, relaxing with her bunny like a pro. So funny, I might be bias but she is the cutest thing ever! Love my little mini-me!

William's BIG Surprise!

This March 2015 we surprised William with probably the biggest surprise of his life, yet! We planned a really fun spring break in Kauai with Pamma! He actully did not even know we were going to Kauai. Chris and I packed the bags, without him knowing and told him we were going out to breakfast! 

Here he is sleeping the morning of the BIG surprise.

He is so funny and made a "YES" sign as soon as we got to our suite. 

I think it's safe to say he was pretty excited and he still did not even know about Pamma!

Pamma got to Kauai late in the night after a long travel day from Cabo! William's reaction was priceless! He was literally taken back. We have it all on video! Yay! We love surprises.
